Real Men Eat Plants|

Tommy Sonnen, a former cattle rancher, shares his journey from being a rancher to becoming a vegan and starting the Rowdy Girl Sanctuary. Tommy grew up in a family with a ranching background, but he didn't have a lot of cattle himself. He worked at Dow Chemical and bought land as an investment. After reconnecting with his ex-wife Renee, who had become vegan, Tommy's perspective started to change. Renee convinced him to stop selling cows and eventually bought the cows herself, turning their property into a farm animal sanctuary. Tommy Sonnen shares his journey from being a cattle rancher to starting the Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, a farm sanctuary. He discusses the challenges they faced during natural disasters and the transition to a vegan lifestyle. Tommy emphasizes the health benefits of going vegan and the positive impact on the environment. He also talks about the support they received from the vegan community and the government. Tommy encourages others to consider transitioning from animal agriculture to plant-based farming.
